Frederick Edward Molyneux St. John
(1838–1904)
Journalist for the Toronto Globe. Accompanied the Wolseley Expedition in 1870 as special correspondent. Civil servant in Manitoba. Chief of the Canadian Pacific Railway's advertising department (Montreal, 1891). Editor of the Winnipeg Standard and later the Manitoba Free Press.[1] Author of A Sea of Mountains: An Account of Lord Dufferin's Tour through British Columbia in 1876.[2]
