At Yale College, Delta Kappa Epsilon, Psi Upsilon, and Alpha Delta Phi, are junior societies. The latter, however, died in 1872, leaving only two rivals in the field.

Theta Omega Chi.

Alpha Epsilon.

A local society at Rochester University.

Kappa Mu.

A local and open society at Bowdoin.

Sigma Upsilon Pi.

A junior society at Dartmouth.
