Executive Order 129

Section 4 of Rule X of the Civil Service Rules, as amended March 16, 1900, is hereby further amended by inserting in line 4, after the word "entered," the words "or held;" so that the second clause of the proviso to said section of said rule shall read: "or which he entered or held in accordance with the provisions of these rules at a time when said position was subject to competitive examination, and has since served continuously therein," etc.
