Adaptability
Styles 1160, 1161 and 1162, Spirella bust confiners, are designed for the medium to well developed figure. Style 1160 is for the long waisted figure; style 1161 for the figure with medium length waist, and style 1162 for the very short waisted figure. Illustration on opposite page shows style 1160.
Description
Made only in strong net, cool and light. Confine the bust and prevent top line of corset from showing. Flaps, covering the lacers and hooks in front, give the garment a smooth finished appearance. Double covered, moisture absorbing dress shields, are set in very fine net sleeves, eliminating the necessity of having shields in the dress or gown.
Style 1160, with proper selection, will care for the figure with development from 10 to 14 inches. Under arm measurement approximately 7 inches; depth of back approximately 8% inches.
Style 1161, with proper selection, will care for the shorter waisted figure with about the same development as style 1160. Under arm measurement approximately 6 inches; depth of back approximately 8 inches. In other respects similar to style 1160.
Style 1162, with proper selection, will care for the shorter waisted figure with about the same development as style 1160. Under arm measurement approximately 5½ inches; depth of back approximately 7 inches. In other respects, similar to style 1160.
Standard sizes 36 to 50, inclusive. Larger or smaller sizes, Special. In ordering special sizes, fill out Special and Custom Order Blank for Spirella bust confiners.
Adjustment
Leave the lacing well apart, hook down the front, then adjust the lacing to the figure. The flaps cover the lacing and hooks and lap enough to allow the lacing to be adjusted.
