An Act Oct. 1, 1988 [H.R. 4637] Foreign Operations, Export Financing, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 1989.

Making appropriations for foreign operations, export financing, and related programs for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1989, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the following sums are appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for foreign operations, export financing, and related programs for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1989, and for other purposes, namely: TITLE I—MULTILATERAL ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE FUNDS APPROPRIATED TO THE PRESIDENT INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS CONTRIBUTIONS FOR ARREARAGES CONTRIBUTION TO THE INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION

For payment to the International Development Association by the Secretary of the Treasury, $43,333,334, for the United States contribution to the replenishments, to remain available until expended: Provided, That no such payment may be made while the United States Executive Director to the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development is compensated by the Bank at a rate in excess of the rate provided for an individual occupying a position at level IV of the Executive Schedule under section 5315 of title 5, United States Code, or while the alternate United States Executive Director to the Bank is compensated by the Bank at a rate in excess of the rate provided for an individual occupying a position at level V of the Executive Schedule under section 5316 of title 5, United States Code. CONTRIBUTION TO THE INTERNATIONAL FINANCE CORPORATION

For payment to the International Finance Corporation by the Secretary of the Treasury, $4,891,528, for the United States share of the increase in subscriptions to capital stock, to remain available until expended. ENROLLMENT ERRATA Pursuant to the provisions of H.J. Res. 665, authorizing the hand enrollment of appropriations bills for fiscal year 1989, and authorizing the subsequent, postenactment of preparation of printed enrollment of those bills, any changes made in this printed version will be footnoted.
