106 STAT. 3524 PUBLIC LAW 102-634—OCT. 27, 1992 Public Law 102-534 102d Congress An Act Oct. 27, 1992 To extend for two yean the authorizations of appropriations for certain programs [H.R. 5716] under title I <rf' the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. EXTENSION OF PROGRAISS. Section 1001(a) of title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and 42 USC 3793. Safe Streets Act of 1968 is amended— (1) by redesignating the last three paragraphs sequentially as para^phs (7), (8), and (9); (2) m paragraph (1)— (A) by striking "each of the"; (B) by striking '^ears 1989, 1990, 1991, and 1992"; and (C) by inserting after '^scal" the following: **yea.T 1992 and $33,000,000 tor each of the fiscal years 1993 and 1994"; (3) in paragraph (2)— (A) by striking **{OT each of the fiscal years 1989," and all that follows through "1990, 1991, and 1992"; and (B) by inserting after ^$30,000,000" the following: "for fiscal year 1992 and $33,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 1993 and 1994"; .^. (4) in paragraph (3)— (A) by striking "$25,500,000" and all that follows throiL?h "M, and N"; and (B) by inserting in lieu thereof "such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 1992 and $28,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 1993 and 1994 to cany out the remaining functions of the Office of Justice Programs and the Bureau of Justice Assistance other than fimctions under parts D, E,F,G,L,M,N,andO"; (5) in paragraph (5)— (A) by striking "$900,000,000" and all that follows throiigh "parts D and E of this title."; and (B) by inserting in lieu thereof "such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 1992 and $1,000,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 1993 and 1994 to ca^rry out the programs under parts D and E (other than diapter B of subpart 2 of part E) of this title."; (6) in paragraph (6)— (A) by striking "$220,000,000 for fiscal year 1991 and such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 1992"; and (B) by inserting in lieu thereof "such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 1992, $245,000,000 for fiscal year 1993, and such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 1994; (7) in paragraph (7), as redesignated—
