Hiatt, \_,$Qm°;;,:f3:";, only surviving partner of Hiatt and Company, late traders for the Usage Himgg C,,_ y,,, tribe of Indians, out of any money in the Treasury accruing to the Osage goods sold _ osago tribe of Indians by act of Congress approved June sixteenth, eighteen mlm <>f I¤*h¤¤:- hundred and eighty, the sum of sixteen thousand seven hundred and V°l‘ 21* Y" 29 ‘ fifty-nine dollars and ninety-nine cents, or so much thereof as may be found actually due the claimant after an investigation of the facts by the Secretary of the Interior, which sum shall be in full satisfaction of the claim of the said Hiatt and Company against the Osage tribe of Indians for goods sold them on an extended credit. H. £°¤';°:h°n of Thornbury, is hereby amended and corrected so as to read: That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed Am, p. 137. to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of J. H. Thornburg, late of Company D, Eighth Regiment of Iowa Cavalry Volunteers. SEO. 2. That the pension shall commence from the date of the approval of the original act.
