Thayer, late brigadier-general and brevet major general of volunteers, at a pension of one hundred dollars a month. Approved, April 18, 1896. CHAP. 118.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Horace Townsend. April 21, 1906. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the ,E°’**?° '¥`°W¤=°¤•*,· Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the °°°1°°m° ' pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Horace Townsend, late of Company A, Tenth New Hampshire Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of fifty dollars per month, in lieu of that he is now receiving. W. Marston, late United States Indian agent at { Union Agency, Indian Territory, for services and expenses. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the g “'· M¤¤·¢¤{·· X Interior is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be examined and ».rp:.Y.`Q`;¤`ilel$,.. °g° audited the claims of the legal representatives of S. W. Marston, late United States Indian agent at Union Agency, Indian Territory, for services rendered and expenses incurred by him in the months of July, August, September, and October, in the year eighteen hundred and seventy-eight. which claims were transmitted to the office of Indian Afiairs about November in said year, and to pay to his legal representa tives whatever sum of money may be found to be justly due to him for such services and expenses, not exceeding in amount the sum of four hundred and fortyeight dollars and ten cents; and a sufficieut sum of money to pay the amount so found to be due is hereby appropriated. Approved, April 24, 1896. CHAP. 125.-An Act Granting a pension to Joseph Porter. April 24, 1890. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the {,;j,*;1g},*n*;Q,*j,€€j,80d Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the ` pension roll the name of Joseph Porter, late a private in Company K, Sixth New York Heavy Artillery, at the rate of thirty dollars per 1nonth, in lieu of the pension he now receives.
