TITLE II — E D U C A T I O N A L A S S I S T A N C E PROGRAM ADJUSTMENTS SEC. 201. Section 1652(a)(3) of title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking out the period at the end of such section and inserting in lieu thereof "unless at some time subsequent to the completion of such period of active duty for training such individual served on active duty for a consecutive period of one year or more (not including any service as a cadet or midshipman at one of the service academies).". SEC. 202. Section 1661 of title 38, United States Code, is amended by. . . (1) inserting in subsection (a) before the period at the end thereof "plus an additional number of months, not exceeding nine, as may be utilized in pursuit of a program of education leading to a standard undergraduate college degree"; and (2) striking out in subsection (c) "subsection (b) " and inserting in lieu thereof "subsections (a) and (b)".
