For an additional amount for "Expenses of operation and maintenance of the courts", $13,526,000, of which $11,300,000 is to remain available until expended. Of available funds under this head, $4,417,000 are rescinded. SPACE AND FACILITIES

For an additional amount for "Space and facilities", $2,384,000, to remain available until September 30, 1986. COURT SECURITY

For an additional amount for "Salaries and expenses", $51,000. GENERAL PROVISION

Effective date. Effective on the first day of the first applicable pay period 28 USC 461 note, commencing on or after January 1, 1985, each rate of pay subject to adjustment by section 461 of title 28, United States Code, shall be increased by an amount, rounded to the nearest multiple of $100 (or if midway between multiples of $100, to the next higher multiple of $100), equal to the overall percentage of the adjustment taking effect under section 5305 of title 5, United States Code, in the rates of pay under the General Schedule during fiscal year 1985.
