Edit summaries: 1769 and 1772 editions edit
Currently, I am not quite sure whether the standard for this KJV is supposed to be Blayney's 1769 text, or a 1772 reprint. As a result, before making any edit, I have been checking both to make sure each edit conforms to both editions. Any edit summary that speaks of conforming to both the 1769 and 1772 editions is confirming that the changes I've made agree with both, so that -- whenever the Wikisource community makes up its mind on the issue -- the edits won't be wasted either way.
(I am not yet aware of any differences between the 1769 and 1772 printings, other than the date on their title pages). MPlasky (talk) 21:56, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
