Transclusion of Table of Illustrations? edit

Just checking whether this page Page:Celtic Fairy Tales.djvu/21 is going to be transcluded, or whether it should be marked with Category:Not transcluded billinghurst (talk) 12:37, 11 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think it sure ought to be used, like this, this, and a lot of other frontmatter. This can easily be added (though the page is protected), but I don't think it ought to be a featured text if it omits all of this—can't believe I didn't notice this when supporting the nom. —innotata 15:04, 27 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't the other frontmatter (frontispiece, another magic spell, dedication ...) be used? —innotata 18:09, 27 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Which pages are we missing? I looked at Category:Not transcluded and there are no pages to be removed, and while it does need an updating there is nothing showing at User:Hesperian/V, or are you meaning that the pages at Celtic Fairy Tales/Front matter should be at the entry level? — billinghurst sDrewth 02:34, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
I didn't notice the frontmatter page you just made. Is this usual? It seems right to add this to the main page here to me, but I don't really care.
It can just make for a very long scrolling page that it isn't very helpful. As the original placement by Zhaladshar had been shorter, I just went with the bulk of it to that page. I don't think that there is a yes/no answer, just choices.
I kinda prefer the front matter on the parent page, especially the title, sub-paging to previous is okay too. Cygnis insignis (talk)
Shouldn't Page:Celtic Fairy Tales.djvu/271 go at the top of notes and references? It is placed facing the final page of text, immediately before the notes; this would also be a more logical place for it to go given its contents. —innotata 15:15, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Choices again. I had thought about the end of the last story, as it is about GOOD NIGHT. Then I thought it too neat to hide away. I can be swayed by any firm opinion, as I don't really mind. — billinghurst sDrewth 15:30, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Then it must go at the top of the notes and references! :-) Cygnis insignis (talk) 16:46, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Yes, and it won't be fully hidden away now the list of illustrations has been added. —innotata 16:51, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Subpaged, header links edit

Would be nice. This book is a great addition to the library, the tales happen to be 'sections' of that. I'm willing to do the moves, unless others see it another way. Cygnis insignis (talk) 17:01, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

I'd poke Zhaladshar, he initiated the work. This wgnome has no specific opinion. — billinghurst sDrewth 23:11, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Navigation of this work is botched edit

I was testing the Epub exporter and I can't even "turn the page" to the next tale the way this currently set-up my fix will be non-contraversial for the most part. I wanted to open the dialouge here in case someone has feedback. BirgitteSB 20:32, 23 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

I think I've taken care of everything now. Let know if I missed something.BirgitteSB 01:12, 26 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Doesn't export the whole book edit

Only the first and last page are exported. unsigned comment by Baioretto (talk) .

@Baioretto: It should be working now. Thank you for the report, it's very appreciated!
For the record, the issue was the {{AuxTOC}} is used for the TOC by default, and the normal TOC is overlooked. To fix it, wrapping the whole thing in {{export TOC}} signals that both TOCs are to be used. Inductiveloadtalk/contribs 14:04, 1 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
