Talk:Mrs. Caudle's curtain lectures

For a "Featured text", I spent thirty seconds trying to figure out how to actually READ the damned thing...might be better if we made it a bit more user-friendly - I'm guessing there's a huge difference between pageviews of the cover and the first page this month... Would you please elaborate. What specifically makes this work hard to read and to navigate. Have you suggestions for improvement? Billinghurst (talk) 22:42, 10 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
I scroll down and it ends at the coverpage, I look at the contents...nothing to click on, I look for a link for Chapter I, or Page 1, or...something...there is nothing. The only links I see are to the illustrator's articles or the List of Illustrations...neither screams "the book starts here". StateOfAvon (talk) 23:01, 10 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Took a peek and I'm seeing almost the same thing here too. The links that should be near the bottom in the TOC are moved as a group to almost absolute top-left, covering (white background) a slice of both the familar green header as well as the blue notes field under it. FWIW... of all the "wacky rendering" I typically see around here - this is the first time I've seen something like this happen. — George Orwell III (talk) 23:29, 10 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
I couldn't replicate in FF or Chrome, though could get it in IE. I think that it has come about from that dratted dotted template that someone kindly added, and I have reverted to one of my earlier versions. See how it is now. Billinghurst (talk) 00:18, 11 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Much better for us trogs with IE, thanks. StateOfAvon (talk) 00:38, 11 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thanks very much for the alert, and we should cater for all disabilities. ;-) Billinghurst (talk) 01:03, 11 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
