The Martin Luther King Jr edit
The Google Books "The Martin Luther King Jr By Various Authors, 1st World Publishing, Incorporated" has a strange errors. In the first paragraph: "nasked" instead of "unasked"; "he" instead of "the"; "oundit" instead of "round it". I shudder to think of proof-reading against it. Annotations edit
The annotations, mostly comparing it with the 1903 edition, were more for my curiosity however they also pointed out what might have been a printing error (i.e. with/wish: see notes above). Feel free to tweak or remove. John Vandenberg (chat) 04:07, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
- No no, that's some terrific work! Very scholarly. I suppose I could copy this content to Strivings of the Negro People/Annotated, and expand the annotations to cover explanations as well as notes on textual development, leaving Strivings of the Negro People for the plain text -- if I were so motivated. The second footnote, "In 1903, "for the world words I longed for, and all its their dazzling opportunities, were theirs, not mine." contradicts Page:The souls of black folk, essays and sketches.djvu/18. CYGNIS INSIGNIS 09:32, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
