Background edit

This template simplifies the citation of a United States House of Representatives roll call vote via the Clerk.House.gov online database.

Parameters Defined edit

x
Year. Valid parameters begin with the One Hundred First, Second Session (101 = 1990) and continue sequential up thru the current one, the One Hundred Eleventh, First Session (111 = 2009).
y
Number in Assigned Order. Every new Session of Congress zeros out the previous one's accumulated list of roll call votes taken in order. Valid parameters are 1 thru 10000+

Application edit

 You enter:  {{USHRollCall|x|y}}  or  {{USHVote|x|y}}
 Template returns:   Roll call vote y, via Clerk.House.gov


Example edit

 You enter:  The Authorization for Use of Force Against Iraq passed (See {{USHRollCall|2002|455}}).
 Template returns:   The Authorization for Use of Armed Forces Against Iraq passed (See Roll call vote 455, via Clerk.House.gov).
