Jamestown Exposition Grounds, VA. June 15. -- Pokahuntas Bell, cast from historic pieces of metal, donated for the purpose by prominent people in various parts of the country, was formally presented to the Pokahuntas Bell Association on the Kentucky reservation, on the Exposition Grounds, this afternoon. The bell stood on the right of the main entrance to the representation of old Fort Boon, which is Kentucky building. A large crowd witnessed the ceremonies. Governor Swanson of Virginia was the orator on this occasion. The Governor received the bell on behalf of the faculty of the University of Virginia. The bell will be entrusted to the keeping of the university at the close of the exposition. Other speakers at the ceremonies were T. J. Wool, of general counsel for the exposition and Major Hunter.

Among the interested spectators present was Mrs. Anna S. Green, of Colpeper, VA. who founded the Pokahuntas Bell Association. Music for the occaion was furnished by the band of the University of Missouri.
