Presidential candidate speeches and debates edit
Unfortunately, I don't think these are suitable for Wikisource. Presidential candidates are not federal employees and speeches they make as candidates are copyright encumbered. Prosody (talk) 01:12, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
- On reflection I'm not sure about speeches. US copyright law requires that an expression be "fixed in any tangible medium of expression", whatever that means, to be eligible for copyright. I don't know which side something like a debate response would fall under. If you're interested in the intersection of copyright law and site policy you can follow the discussion I've started here. Hopefully some more knowledgeable people can clear it up and you can see whether or not you can work on transcribing these here. Prosody (talk) 01:25, 22 July 2016 (UTC)

Trump not yet a US employee edit
