Since SuicidalHamster is doing such an excellent job putting the original translations of Schopenhauer online, I thought I'd point you towards Author:Arthur_Schopenhauer#Works_about_Schopenhauer if you'd be interested in helping add a couple of those works about Schopenhauer to our collection. The links to each work appear after the author's name, and you can click a variety of formats (typically you'll probably want the TXT file) to view the text as scanned by the w:Internet Archive. Welcome and Schopenhauer

Looking at The Philosophy Of Schopenhauer I have noticed that it is essentially a copy of the first four books of The World as Will and Representation which make up the first volume plus a different introduction and an essay called The metaphysics of the love of the sexes. Because the first four books are identical it seems unnecessary to double the amount of formatting necessary by having each book on two pages. I therefore suggest each book has its own subpage which is then transcluded onto any other pages needed. Any thoughts? Suicidalhamster 21:08, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes. I had stopped my work on the book because of this realization. Don't want to do duplicate work. So I will wait for your completion of The World as Will and Representation to see whether my author makes any pertinent comments that might warrant inclusion. Then I will begin transclusion. Feel free to use any or all of my Book 1 as it is pretty much copyedited to completion.

Just noticed that The Philosophy Of Schopenhauer misses out sections 9, 10 and 11. Suggests that Irwin Edman may have made more changes than I suspected! Not quite sure how transclusion will work now. It may be possible to use >noinclude< tags (not my forte). Thank you must be extended to you as well! Hey, when creating a new page, just throw {{no header}} at the top of the page, and then you'll get a handy template to copy/paste to make the page fit into our style so that it can be found and linked easily by other users :) The same can be done for normal pages as well, the template can tell whether to offer you the template for an authorpage or a text :) Sherurcij ^{Collaboration of the Week: Wikisource:Sheet music} 21:51, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Richard Wagner in Bayreuth

Hi, I have tagged Richard Wagner in Bayreuth with {{no license}} because it currently doesnt have a license tag, and the translator hasnt been dead for 70 years, so I think his copyright is still valid in the UK. You have noted "1909" - is that when it was published? (when the translator was only 27?) Was it published in this book? OCLC:28098941^{all editions}. Hi, it appears you have overwritten the poem of the same name by Don Marquis. Copying the text over won't do as the edit history is lost. No worries, I'll try to sort it out. Please use the correct procedure next time: first move the old page out of the way with the "move" button, then create the new page. Some great stuff, though have you considered adding scans

G'day Alcmaeonid. You are putting up some great stuff, however, we are going to run into the difficulty that no-one else is able to proofread it. One of the neat things about WikiSource is that we have the Page: namespace where we are able to view scans/images uploaded to Commons. You can find out further information at H:SIDE. An example of a book that I am currently working upon is Index:List of Carthusians 1800-1879.djvu which you can look at as it progresses to proofread at List of Carthusians, 1800–1879. Be careful with iwikis

Please, be careful with iwikis. In Lights (Chekhov/Garnett) you erroneously specify a ru:Событие (Чехов) instead of ru:Огни (Чехов), i fix it.

"Hi Sergey. Yes it is one of my favorites, along with The Steppe and In The Ravine. I know the translations leave much to be desired but remember that Garnett is one of the best in the public domain.
