The mysterious Header toggle button edit
When proofreading in the Page: namespace and one has their toolbar turned on [Gadgets | Editing (tab) | Editing toolbar (checkbox)], one will see the button 
, and clicking it toggles the header/footer on and off. In this space we put the relevant components for top and bottoms of pages, usually by use of the template {{RunningHeader}}, so for example {{RunningHeader|Stanhope|3|Stanhope}} produces

I personally have my header/footer set to open in the Page: namespace and I achieved this by activating that option in my Gadgets. To also note that at this time, the use of the newer Wikieditor toolbar (Editing tab in My preferences) does not yet display all the tools that we utilise for proofreading. PS. I have patrolled some of your edits and they are good. PPS. I did have a comment. When you have a paragraph that terminates on a page, we look to add {{nop}} on a new line at the end of the paragraph. - Hi, billinghurst, and thank you for the help and the suggestions :) I have a couple of questions:
- Is it necessary to include the header and the footer on the proofread page? I mean, are they used while transcluding them or is it just to stay loyal to the layout of the proofread page?
- Preferred; some loyalty to completeness of the work, and hopefulness that one day we will be able to put the text back against a work
- Does using two linebreaks at the beginning of a page starting with a new paragraph serve the same function as using the {{nop}} at the end of the previous page and can it be used as an alternative?

- Wiki and proofread page gobble line breaks and there is always a little consistency in display spacing. Plus when we transclude, we went for the general approach of {{nop}}. Also we need to take account of the fact that we are trying to replicate a book (standard size) to the web where every person (inconsiderately) has a different font/monitor/... Community practice, and the active proofreaders will clean to that, but don't fuss it, that is why we have two proofreadings, plus I have some little tools to automate some of these more common things. If the

- One more VERY VITAL thing for you to do. Please add the work to {{new texts}}, as this is a translation, I would recommend something like we custom the use of the template ...

- Dear billinghurst, thank you so much for being a most helpful sourcizen and all your help with proofreading Ravished Armenia! I have worked more in the Armenian Wikisource, but it is slightly different over there as proofreading takes somewhat longer due to poorer Armenian OCR compared to the English OCR. Also, you have quite a few templates over here, some of which make formatting a whole lot easier. I'm hoping I'll end up importing some of the templates I learn about, mostly thanks to you, over to hy.wikisource as well. Though it may not be as easy having them all, as the default number of Armenian fonts that browsers support is pretty limited. I'll add the link to {{new texts}} right now, and then hopefully continue proofreading Ambassador Morgenthau's Story. Hats off, Chaojoker (talk) 21:23, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
- If you need a hand with templates, then let me know, I think that I am now proficient. While there are some weird and wonderful templates, we also do ahve some really good and simple templates. Cannot promise that I will get to the latter work. My endeavour is to get R...A... done, and then get back to some of my works.
