DULCINISTS, the followers of Dulcinius of Lombardy, in the fourteenth century; who, after predicting the downfal of the Pope, took arms to fulfil his own prophecy, and perished miserably in the attempt. He joined the Apostolics and became a leader in their sect before he founded one of his own.[1]
