סלק (=שלק) to boil down. Gitt. 68b, sq. Ar. (ed. ש׳). - Part. pass. סליק; f. סליקא, סליקתא; pl. סליקתא. Pes. 34a top ומאיסתא בס׳ Ar. (ed. Koh. סלקתא; Ms. M. 2 סלקיתא; ed. שליקתא) when the wheat has been boiled (in the brewery) and become repulsive; v. סליקוסתא II.

*סלקונדרי m. pl. (siliginarii or siliquiari) bakers of wheat fiour (v. Sm. Ant.a s. v. Pistor). Ab. Zar. 39b (Ar. סלוקתי, סלותקי, סלונדקי), v. next w.
טלקונדרית, סלקונרית f. (preced.) ס׳ מל lumpy saltt (used by bakers), for which, it was believed, en- trails of unclean animals were used as a condiment or to polish itts surface. Ab. Zar. II, 6 (35b) ס׳ מלח Ms. M. (Mish. ed. סלקונטית; Bab. ed. שלקונדית; Y. ed. סלוקנרית; Alff. סלקונתית). Tosef. ib. IV (V), 12 שחורה סלקונתית מלח ed. Zuck.
