צנור, צינור m. (b. h.; צנר, enlargement of צור, cmp. צינוק, טינר, סינר &c.) [anything carved out or turned,] I) sockett in which the door-pivot turns, or pivot. M. Kat. I, 10(11a) והצ׳ הציר the pivot and the socket (or the socket and the pivot; v. Rashi in Rabb. D. S. a. l. note 30). -- 2) water pipe, spout, duct. Mikv. צנורא II. צנורה I. צנורת, צי׳ f. (v. זורר) 1) splash from a spout (cmp. סילון II), trnsf. (רוק של) צ׳ cyection of spittle. Y.
