Article 1
This Act is specifically enacted to provide for the conversion of currency units used in existing laws and regulations into New Taiwan Dollars, in order to maintain the applicability of the existing laws and regulations.
Article 2
If the currency unit for a monetary amount specified in an existing law or regulation is Yuan (圓), Silver Yuan (銀元), or Yuan (元), multiply the monetary amount by three to convert the currency unit into New Taiwan Dollars.
Article 3
This Act shall come into force from the date of promulgation.
