Davies, Rev. James, 2s. Richard Banks, of Kington, co. Hereford, arm. St. Mary Hall, matric. 29 Oct., 1841, aged 21; scholar Lincoln Coll., B.A. 1844, M.A. 1846, assumed the surname of Davies in lieu of Banks by royal licence 1858, preb. of Hereford 1875, head-master King Edward's School, Ludlow, died 11 March, 1883.
