Faraday, Michael, f.r.s., created D.C.L. 21 June, 1832, natural philosopher and chemist; the Royal Society awarded him the Copley medal for his discovery of magneto-electricity in 1832, and also, in 1838, for his researches in specific electrical induction, he died 25 Aug., 1867.
