Fremantle, (Sir) William Henry, of Englefield Green, Berks, created D.C.L. 5 July, 1810, G.C.H. 1827, P.C. 1822, treasurer of the household 1826, deputy ranger of Windsor Great Park 1831-50, Irish secretary in London 1789-1800, etc., M.P. 1806-27, (youngest son of John Fremantle, of Aston Abbots, Bucks), died 19 Oct., 1850, aged 84.
