King's advocate, and knighted 6 Feb., 1805, chancellor of the diocese of London, and judge of the Consistory Court, M.P. Callington 1818-20, a judge of the Admiralty Court 1828, and a member of the Privy Council 1828, died 21 April, 1833, father of Christopher Thomas, of John 1822, and of William 1819.
