Brasenose Coll., matric. 24 April, 1811, aged 18; Hulme exhibitioner, B.A. 1814, M.A. 1817, fellow 1816-22, of Netherside and Linton, Yorks, rector of Alresford, Essex, 1841, until his death 20 May, 1843, his sons (Alexander Ralph and Thomas W.) assumed the name of Nowell in lieu of Robinson.
