Sydenham, Floyer, s. Humphrey, of Dulverton, Somerset, arm. Wadham Coll., matric. 31 May, 1727, aged 16; B.A. 1731, M.A. 1734, bar.-at-law, Lincoln's Inn, 1735, Greek scholar, imprisoned for a trifling debt where he died 1 April 1787, to this circumstance the Literary Fund is said to derive its origin.
