Thurlow, Edward (Hovell), s. Thomas, bishop of Durham. Magdalen Coll., matric. 17 May, 1798, aged 17; created M.A. 16 July, 1801, 2nd Baron Thurlow, assumed the additional surname of Hovell by royal licence 8 July, 1814, patentee of the Bankrupts' Office, clerk of the presentation in the Petty Bag Office, clerk of the Hanaper and of the custody of lunatics and idiots, and registrar of the diocese of Lincoln, died 3 June, 1829.
