Chao Cuo
(200 BCE – 154 BCE)

Chinese author, formerly romanized Ch'ao Ts'o. Native of Ying-ch'uan in Anhui, who rose under the Emperor Wên Ti of the Han dynasty to be chief tutor to the Heir Apparent. Blamed for unpopular decisions and executed.
