editSince Kitty had no known living relatives, her diaries were gifted to certain individuals in the community of Clearview. The transcriber is the current caretaker of those diaries, and as such, copyright vests in this function. These diaries are transcribed from the original manuscripts, which were writen in quill pen on ledger pads, each of 70 to 100 pages.
