Sources edit

Searches of 1890s and 1900s shows zero obvious Georgina Harding. Looking for an educated woman, typically daughter of clerics, or children of noble families; by 1900 we can start to see some children of the merchant class.

Further parts of the same publication all refer to her as Miss Harding. Her Italian translations are regarded as accurate though non-poetic, modern works say that her work bowderlised the translations. — billinghurst sDrewth 11:19, 20 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Suspect an alias edit

The absence of all particular data has me thinking alias, someone like Georgina Louisa Susannah Horatia Sarah Harding Pennington-Bickford (nee Pennington) (1866-1941) [1] is such a candidate. Daughter of clergyman, living at home until 1907 then married another well clergyman William Pickford, who picks up her name. Brothers were at Cambridge. She was writer of hymns, etc. Not certain that more can be learnt. Obit for her in the Times does not have any statement about language or other components to indicate anything. — billinghurst sDrewth 13:00, 20 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
