Commencement of sections 4 and 7 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa Second Amendment Act, 2001 (2003)

This presidential proclamation, number 77 of 2003 published on 1 December 2003 in Government Gazette No. 25792, set the date that sections 4 and 7 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa Second Amendment Act, 2001 came into force. The rest of the act had been brought into force earlier by another proclamation.

Commencement of sections 4 and 7 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa Second Amendment Act, 2001 (Act No. 61 of 2001)

Under section 11 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa Second Amendment Act, 2001 (Act No. 61 of 2001), I hereby fix 1 December 2003 as the date on which sections 4 and 7 of the said Act shall come into operation.
