By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and laws of the United States of America, and in order to ensure the continuation of efforts to assist the States in the fight against drunk driving, it is hereby ordered that Section 4(b) of Executive Order No. 12358, as amended, is amended to read as follows:

"The Commission shall terminate on December 31, 1983."
