Executive Order 1274

It is hereby ordered that on and after January 1, 1911, all official communications or reports from and to executive officers of the following territorial possessions of the United States, to wit:

The Island of Guam in the Ladrones and the Island of Tutuila of the Samoan group and all other islands of the group east of longitude one hundred seventy-one degrees west of Greenwich, and all official communications or reports relating to territorial matters from and to all executive officers of the United States stationed in such territorial possessions, shall be transmitted through the Secretary of the Navy, in such manner, and under such regulations, as he may prescribe. The Executive Orders of May 11, 1907, and May 25, 1909, respectively, are hereby amended accordingly.
