Schedule A, of positions excepted from examination under Rule II, clause 3, is amended as follows:

IX. Department of Commerce and Labor.

All persons temporarily connected with the field operations of the Bureau of Fisheries, who are paid from lump appropriations for miscellaneous expenses. No person employed in a position, specifically provided for by statute at any station, shall be regarded as excepted from examination hereunder.
