English: (A) Dendrogram signifying populations are distinct in isolated S-Bdc and L-Bdc. (B) Heat map for markers for regional development: cultured S-Bdc – (S1–S5) preferentially express genes associated with the craniofacial development of neural crest derived cells (red), whilst genes for limb development and patterning are preferentially expressed by L-Bdc (L1–L5). Differential expression of bone-associated markers are also depicted; Alcam, activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule; Sfrp2, secreted frizzled-related protein 2; Apo-E, apolipoprotein E; Smoc2, SPARC related modular calcium binding 2; Spp1, osteopontin; Fst, follistatin.
