Summary

Description
English: Continued expression of developmental patterning Hoxa genes demonstrate posterior prevalence in adult limbs; the more distal the skeletal element, the greater the Hoxa number expression. For instance, Hoxa13 is expressed in the more distal ulnar and tibial bones, but not in the more proximal femur.
