English: Facsimile of a wooden bas-relief on the under part of the seats of the choir of Worcester cathedral (see John Carter, Specimens of Ancient Sculpture and Paintings (London, 1780-1794), i. p. 53 (plates unnumbered); also reproduced in H. Lavoix, Histoire de la musique (Paris, 1884)) said to date from the 14th century, shows a musician in a robe with long sleeves of fur playing the horn.
