Extracting images from a PDF edit
Since this pages includes some tips, is it worth updating the content to match guidance on Commons? They give suggestions about how to do it, including ways to extracting them en masse. I just tried PDF Candy for example and that worked pretty well. It was for a born-digital document, so might work differently for a scan but might have potential.
