Maybe I'm not reading it correctly, but I think the last line, "All Wikisource content is released under the terms of the w:GNU Free Documentation License or a GFDL-compatible alternative," isn't completely correct. If the majority of our works here started out (when they were uploaded) in the public domain, most remain in the public domain, and therefore cannot be released under either of these.
