Error:0 edit
The JIRA system site has an insecure connexion, dare-for I write here.
When uploading I get the message ERROR:0. I can not find an explanation, and I therefore do not know what's wrong.
It's about:

I believe JIRA is long gone along the Toolserver itself. I have replaced the bug reporting message with a link to the Bitbucket repo's issue tracker. Magnus Manske, could you correct it if it is not the best place to point people to? --Base (talk) 21:39, 21 November 2017 (UTC)
Can't log in with OAuth edit
Hi, I can't log in with OAuth on https://tools.wmflabs.org/url2commons/index.html and someone else too. Is this a known issue? Thanks, Yann (talk) 20:22, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
- The OAuth is working for me. Could you try again please? --Magnus Manske (talk) 08:01, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
- @Magnus Manske: I can't log in either, even when I click "Allow". It just sends me back to the URL2Commons menu like nothing happened, and it still says I need to login. Lizardcreator (talk) 01:42, 28 May 2022 (UTC)

Link in this article to tool does not work edit
The app appears to have moved (to https://tools.wmflabs.org/url2commons/index.html). Can someone fix? --Red King (talk) 17:26, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
Uploading mp3 files edit
@Magnus Manske: URL2Commons gives an error when the target filename has a .mp3 extension, even if the user has the rights to upload them. Could you take a look? Thanks! John P. Sadowski (NIOSH) (talk) 03:42, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
"webp" is not a supported file name edit
@Magnus Manske: Hello, I tried to upload an image for c:Category:Screenshots of Freedoom from https://freedoom.github.io/screenshots.html which all of them are in the format "webp", but it fails: ""webp" is not a supported file name!" can you please check and fix this problem? thanks.--Editor-1 (talk) 00:40, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
@User:Magnus Manske If you don't want or don't have time to fix it now, just please say it so I will try to find another way or tool, thanks.--Editor-1 (talk) 23:35, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
Unspecified error edit
I've posted my error query at the Commons help desk. As I don't want to start a parallel discussion, could those who watch this page please respond there? Schwede66 (talk) 05:03, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
Form fields should be readonly until logged in edit
Users will fill out the form before logging in, despite the warning.
So the form fields should be readonly until logged in. Jidanni (talk) 13:14, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
Mention that spaces in file names are allowed edit
Users will get an error message with
m.example.org/3572648.jpg Qingfu St. 15 person mailbox side m.example.org/3572647.jpg Qingfu St. 15 person mailbox front
They will think spaces are not allowed.
In fact all they need is .jpg at the end:
m.example.org/3572648.jpg Qingfu St. 15 person mailbox side.jpg m.example.org/3572647.jpg Qingfu St. 15 person mailbox front.jpg
No message about what line triggered errors edit

the user cannot use the tool. Jidanni (talk) 13:27, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
Common error: URL must begin with http/https etc. edit
URLs must begin with the protocol head, e.g. http://
. i suppose this error is quite common.--RZuo (talk) 14:01, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
