Fine block text

This work uses a style which is not familiar to me. There is the regular text which leads into something like a quotation in block text. I marked this with the {{fine block}} template. See examples in

Lots of pages have this kind of formatting. Since this is common and I am not sure of the correct style I wanted to post here to solicit any other comment on the best way to edit this work. Thoughts from others? Blue Rasberry (talk) 15:41, 19 August 2018 (UTC)

  Two points:

  • Each line is not a new paragraph, so there should not be a blank line between each line of text. Use <br /> after each line.
  • I prefer to set off the quoted source text with a 1em indent left margin. We don't normally indent text, but this is a situation where it makes sense to do so.
