Alida, a little village of Geary county, is in Smoky Hill township, and is a station on the Union Pacific R. R., 8 miles west of Junction City, the county seat. It has a money order postoffice, a telegraph office, and is a trading and shipping point for that section of the county. The population in 1910 was 48.
