Henry Gally,

DIVINE,

Was born at Beckenham in 1676. He was Lecturer at St. Paul's, Covent Garden, in 1721, and became Prebendary of Gloucester, in 1728. He published several sermons and theological works, translated "The Moral Characters of Theophrastus," and wrote two dissertations on the pronunciation of Greek. He died August 7, 1769.
