MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 16.

By Order of the Directors of the Telegraph Newspaper Company.

TWO SPLENDID BUSINESS SITES,

each having 25ft. frontage to

EDWARD-STREET,

between the Patriot Newspaper Office and Ahern's Hotel, at the corner of

QUEEN-STREET,

while directly opposite to Finney,Isles, & Co.'s Wholesale Warehouse, being one of the most valuable unutilised properties in the city.

Terms very easy, declared at Sale.

JOHN CAMERON has been favored with instructions from the Directors of the Telegraph Newspaper Compauy to sell by public auction, at his Real Property Mart, Town Hall, on MONDAY, September 16, at Eleven o'clock,

All those pieces of Land described upon the

plan of subdivision of Allotment 19 of Section 29, as Lots 1 and 2, each having a frontage to

EDWARD-STREET

of 25ft., by a depth of 120ft.

These invaluable business sites are only 2 chains

removed from

QUEEN-STREET,

and are quite equal in value for almost any description of business to any of the intermediate lots in our leading thoroughfares, more especially as the Telegraph Newspaper Company are now calling for tenders to erect premises for conducting and carrying on the business of the Telegraph and Week newspapers on the property adjoining that now offered to the public.

These sites are literally in the heart of the business portion of the Metropolis, being in the midst of, and surrounded by, the new and handsome premises in course of erection for the A.M.P. Society, tho Joint Stock Bank, Finney, Isles & Co.'s aud Edwards & Chapman's drapery establishments, the Patriot newspaper office, Cleghorn's printing office, and a whole host of other important firms; and last, but by no means least, the new Telegraph newspaper offices will be erected, as stated above, on the lot immediately adjoining the land.

To give those who are ignorant of the fact an idea of the value of land in the locality, the Auctioneer may state that only a few mouths ago he was offered by one of our city firms £175 per foot for 82 feet frontage to Queen-street, the land backing up to and only separated from the sites now offered by a 20ft. right-of-way, and the offer was declined. This little incident speaks volumes as to the value of the position.

The plan showing the subdivision, together with plans of the proposed building to be erected for the Telegraph Newspaper Company, can be seen by calling at the Auctioneer's mart.
