צותרא m. (contr. of צערצער=צצער, cmp. זוטר) very little, shrivelled. Lam. R. to I, 5 וכ׳ צ׳ סבא הדין קדם מן (Ar. צייתורא הדין) do you get up before this shrivelled old man ?
צח m. (b. h.; צחח) 1) bright, resplendent. Cant. R. to V, 10 (ref. to ואדום צח ib.) וכ׳ ואדום . . לי צח bright (propitious) to me (Israel) in Egypt, but red (threatening) to the Egyptians; ib. [read;] למצרים ואדום . . . בים לי צח בים; ib. בעוהוז לי ואדום בעויהב לי צח; Yalk. Cant. 988 (corr. acc.). Yalk. Sam. 109 (play on לשח, I Sam. X, 2) צל צח יום bright is the shadow of the day (of Saul); של צל צח וכ׳ ומלכים זקן bright was the shade (declining day) of the patriarch (to whom it was said at Bethel), 'and kings shall proceed from thee (Gen.
