ציפא II, or ציפא, צפא m. (צפף; cmp P. Sm. 3428 s. v. צף a. sq.) [coarse texture,] 1) the feshy covering of date-stones. Hull. 50b וכ׳ צ׳ בלא בדוחקא בצ׳ . . . כגון when three date-stones can pass the openung, by force with the covering on them, and easily without the covering. ׳־ 2) reedssmmat. - Pl ציפי or ציפי.
