קהרמנא m. (Pers. Kaharmin) administrator, cu- rator. B. Bath. 46b שוויה ק׳ Ar. (read; שויוהו; v. הרמניא) they made him an administrator (of their property, and as such he let it out to tenants). קו m. (b. h.; v. קוה) 1) circle, zone. Hag. 12a ירוק קו תהו וכ׳ tohu (Gen. I, 2) is the green (or yellow) circle which surrounds the whole world (the horizon); Yalk. Kings 185 (ref. to I Kings VII, 23) וכ׳ ירוק קו זה this is typical of the green circle &c. Num. קוביא f. (~~~(~) dice-playing, gambling. Snh. III, 3 (among those disqualified as witnesses) בק׳ המשחק the habitual dice-player; R. Hash. I, 8; Y. ib. 57a top בקובייא. Sabb. XXIII, 2 ק׳ משום (omitted in Bab. ed. 148b) it is forbidden, because it is like gambling; ib. 149a; a. e.

IV, 7 . . . המוכר ק או גנב ונמצא if one sells a slauve . .., and he turns oidb to be a thief or a crafty person (swindler), contrad. to ליסטיס; Y. ib. VII, end, 15c; Bab. ib. 92b.
